Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) apply to the T-Rex Series games published by Plaxi Co., Ltd. (“Plaxi”, “we”, “us”): T-Rex GO, T-Rex Bom: Dino Bomber, T-Rex Fall: Drop & Dodge, T-Rex Bash: Whack & Guard, and any other game we add to the series (each a “Game”), together with their online features and this website.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By downloading, installing or playing a Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Games.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, please read these Terms with your parent or guardian and play only with their permission. Your parent or guardian is responsible for any purchases made on your device.
2. The Games
The Games are free to download. They show advertising and offer optional in-app purchases. You can play without creating an account. Some features, such as leaderboards and cloud save, need an internet connection.
The Games are provided for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.
3. Your license
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and play the Games on devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the terms of the app store you downloaded the Game from (for example, the Google Play Terms of Service). Where these Terms and the app store’s terms conflict on how the app store works, the app store’s terms apply.
We keep all rights that are not expressly granted to you in these Terms.
4. Player names and leaderboards
Each Game gives you an anonymous player name (for example, “DINO-0042”). If you change it, your player name must not:
- include personal information such as your real name, phone number or address;
- be offensive, hateful, sexual or harassing;
- impersonate another person or organisation; or
- advertise anything or infringe anyone’s rights.
We may change or reset a player name that breaks these rules, and we may remove scores that we reasonably believe were achieved by cheating or by exploiting a bug. Leaderboards run in seasons and are reset when a season ends.
5. Virtual items and purchases
Coins, gems, skins, upgrades and other in-game items (“Virtual Items”) are part of the Game. Buying or earning a Virtual Item gives you a limited license to use it in that Game. Virtual Items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value, and cannot be sold, transferred or moved between Games or to another person.
In-app purchases are processed by the app store, not by us, and are subject to its terms and payment policies. Prices are shown in the app store at the time of purchase. Refund requests are handled by the app store under its refund policy; we do not provide refunds directly except where required by applicable law.
We may adjust the price, availability or effect of Virtual Items, for example to balance gameplay. Purchased Virtual Items cannot be recovered after you delete the Game’s data, except where they are restored through the app store’s purchase history or through cloud save.
6. Advertising
The Games display advertising provided by third parties, including Google AdMob. Some Games let you choose to watch an ad in exchange for a reward; watching such ads is always optional. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads, and any dealings you have with them are between you and them.
7. Rules of conduct
When you use the Games, you must not:
- cheat, or use bots, scripts, modified clients or any other unauthorised software;
- exploit bugs or errors, or submit scores or data that were not produced by normal play;
- copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer a Game, except to the extent the law allows this despite this restriction;
- access our servers other than through the Games, or interfere with or overload them;
- use the Games for any commercial purpose or in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others.
8. Game data and cloud save
Your progress is stored on your device and, where the Game offers it, backed up with cloud save linked to your anonymous player ID. Deleting the Game or its data, resetting or changing your device can cause progress to be lost. Please keep this in mind before doing so; we cannot always restore lost progress.
9. Intellectual property
The Games and this website, including their code, artwork, characters, music, sound and text, are owned by Plaxi or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.
10. Changes to the Games
We may update, change, suspend or stop any Game or any of its features (including leaderboards, cloud save and Virtual Items) at any time. Where practical, we will give advance notice in the Game or on this website. If we stop a Game, you may no longer be able to use Virtual Items in it; except where required by applicable law, we are not obliged to compensate you for this.
11. Suspension and termination
If you break these Terms, we may restrict or end your access to the online features of a Game, such as leaderboards and cloud save, and remove related data.
You can stop using the Games at any time by uninstalling them. To ask us to delete the data linked to your player ID, follow the steps in the Game’s privacy policy.
12. Privacy
How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy for each Game.
13. Disclaimer
We work hard to keep the Games fun and running smoothly, but they are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise that the Games will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device, or that data will never be lost.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Plaxi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, progress or Virtual Items, arising out of or in connection with the Games. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Games is limited to the amount you paid for in-app purchases in that Game during the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for damage caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the Consumer Contract Act of Japan. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. The updated Terms take effect when they are published on this page, and the effective date at the top will change. For important changes, we will give notice in advance, with the date they take effect, on this website or in the Games. If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over our place of business, as the court of first instance.
